Notes: Wow, this night was a joke! I had to wait and let myself cool off a bit before I wrote about this show, because if I would have wrote the summary that night...well, let's just say I might have regretted what I wrote. That being said: this night was terrible! Not that we played poorly or didn't have a kick-ass show as always...it's just the rest of the night that was ridiculous. The dude that booked the show (the dude that books both Thursday and Sunday nights now at the Red Sea) that I will refer to simply as Douchebag...or KB...oops, I mean DB for short told us to get there hella early. A 7pm load-in time is nearly unheard of, but whatever.

After I get there I realize that DB has booked his own douchy band for 2 SETS this night! Not only that, but he wants to use my drums for both sets AND we have to wait around until his shitty "improv" band gets done with their second shitty set at the end of the night to get paid. Then, this other band of cocksmokers (currently called Ellis) that was supposed to play called and said they "broke up today, so they won't be playing". Hahaha yeah right! Retards. Long story short is Mr. DB decides at the end of the night not to pay us even though we're the only band that brought anyone out (btw, thanks Kelly, Shaun, Danny, Shawn, and the boys of Benedict Arnold for coming out - you guys rule!) and I know the half-ass sound guy got paid and so did KB...I mean DB...and so did he and his shitty band of unrehearsed twits. Ugh. I digress I suppose. It's really the fault of this one particular dick. Not his band. Just his stupid ass.

BUT we kicked ass on stage as always. Gave away a few CDs and made a couple new friends. Moral of the story: DO NOT PLAY THURSDAY OR SUNDAY NIGHTS AT THE RED SEA. As comic book store guy would say, "worst night EVER!".
